WELCOME
PATCH (Graham Michell) was a remarkable
keyboard player, singer and entertainer based on the Gold Coast,
Queensland, Australia.
While travelling in China, chasing his
dreams, Graham passed away - 1 October 2008.
This site is hosted in honor of Graham's
memory and his incredible talent.

A feature of his live
show was that he wore a keyboard, guitar style, therefore the
audience could actually see what he was playing. I have only seen
one other talented musician playing a Roland keyboard in this
manner - and he was a member of Lionel Ritchie's band.

Gigs
For the last 7 years Graham was a regular
performer at the BLAZING PIANOS, Broadbeach, Gold Coast. It was
the longest running and most sucessful bar on the Gold Coast until
management decided that a live band was no longer needed. A silly
decision bearing in mind that the bar takings were always more
than the bar next door which was three times the size!
Duo and Band Gigs
His repertoire was huge, with a strong emphasis
on "Big Band" and "Swing" with a modern twist.
People like Harry Connick Jr. Michael Buble and Jamie Cullum have
poineered this revolution in music and it has become all the rage
worldwide (thanks boys).
