About Me (PATCH).

I have been involved in the entertainment and hospitality industry all my life. Success depends upon good playing, solid performance skills, being able to read an audience and play to that audience. That's what I am all about.

I come from a long line of professional musicians and it was evident from an early age that I would follow in the footsteps of my parents. I joke that when I started school I thought the alphabet stopped at G! My first professional gig was at the age of 9 and I have been playing ever since. Over the years I have performed in just about every situation imaginable and worked with a “who’s who” in the entertainment industry.

Many years ago I decided to combine my business skills with my musical ability and knowledge of the music industry. I became a band leader. This has been a resounding success and although it has had it's challenges, it has led to a very rewarding career in the industry.

I have developed a high skill level as a keyboard player/singer. I combine humour in my performance and have an innate ability to reach any crowd. This has made me an excellent frontman.

Over the last 10 years I have focused on the “corporate functions” market, both as a Solo entertainer and with my band FLASH. I have an eye for detail and I demand excellence from myself and my players, which is a perfect fit in this sphere of the music industry. The corporate market can be very demanding, catering for diverse tastes and age groups and often in circumstances not primarily geared towards a live music show. My motto is “if you can be successful in the corporate market you can be successful anywhere”.
